This is a quick look at what stress can produce in the body psychologically, symptomatically and physically in a very understated list. Remember there are three phases of stress identified, 1) alarm, 2) resistance and 3) exhaustion. One of the doctor's jobs is to determine which stage the patient is in and what the proper support needs to be besides DSF or de-stress formula. The salivary testing can give us this type of information (www.labrix.com). Complete blood work can give us a great amount of information and documentation. This is why we are now teaching functional diagnosis. Go to www.brimhall.com and review our teaching schedule and look at co-op blood testing.
IPsychological Stress Symptoms

Physical Stress Symptoms

- Autoimmune conditions
- Inability to hold a spinal correction
- Chronic pain
I think it is safe to say everyone is in one of these three stages and exhibiting symptomatic expression at one level or another. We are being "stressed out" at all six levels of interference: 1) Structural, 2) Emotional, 3) Nutritional, 4) Electromagnetic Pollution, 5) Allergies/Sensitivities and 6) Toxic Accumulation. Our seminars are designed to teach identification and correction of each of these interferences with the Six Steps To Wellness. It is easy to see why DSF Glandular or DSF Herbal is a place to start with the patient, while all six areas of interference are being evaluated and corrected. We teach the use of Blood, Hair, Saliva and Muscle Response Testing etc. to help evaluate the patient to allow proper treatment at each of the six areas of interference and correction. Functional testing and treatment give us documentation of the causes, course of action and progress, or lack of it, to allow us to make changes in our techniques or nutritional recommendations and to know when to refer, if necessary. The body is a complex of web-like interacting systems and not isolated in any way. Therefore, digestion is important and is linked to the immune system and the nervous system etc. For one simple example, we must think of Total Probiotics, Total Enzymes and Hypo D (if the digestive system is compromised) when we think of balancing stress in the body and not just DSF. Another example is that heavy metals may be compromising all of the systems of the body and must be addressed before long term healing can take place. These are a very few examples of the wonderful and complex interactions of the body. It is important that we look at the whole body and all of its systems to get the results needed. We look forward to seeing you soon at a Nutri-West/Brimhall Seminar where we have expanded our teaching for your understanding of this web-like interaction through many of the functional tests available. Yours in Health and Wellness, John W Brimhall, BA, BS, DC, FIAMA, DIBAK
