Let me tell you a story. Just over a year ago I went to a morning Bible class, where there was an acquaintance there I overheard telling someone he had to go find a cup of water to take his pill. He explained the doctor instructed him to take his Fosamax once a week at the same time (I wish I had the same clout as a medical doctor that patients follow instructions to the tee). Afterward I went over to him and asked if the doctor mentioned any side affects. He said no, that osteoporosis is not a joke and he must take this pill for life. I told him what I do, gave him a card, and told him to Google the drug. Later he called to make an appointment. It turns out he did stop the drug before he even made an appointment with me, took Calcium and vitamin D instead from what he read on the internet.

Now he just had new blood work done by his doctor and was informed that his cholesterol was a little high and needs to do something about it. He decided before he takes another drug he would see what I have to say. I told him about the Total Health Scan to compliment the blood test and ways to find out why his body is doing what it does. It turns out his HDL was 62 and LDL 131. What the doctor did not mention is that his TSH was bottom of normal range, T4 and T3 low even by lab standards.  Naturally we tested him for Total Thyroid, Iodine Rescue and for hidden infections or a low functioning immune system and heavy metals that may be affecting his thyroid and the rest of his body.  If he needs to lower his cholesterol, then we could use Total Lipotrophic.  Once proper diet is followed and the other systems properly supported, especially with the healthy HDL of 62, I do not think his LDL will present any problem.

The bottom line is we have to learn the blood work and the other Functional Testing you have added to your seminars and carry the torch of health and wellness, not symptom cover up. We have to go to grassroots and educate. We have to get up the confidence in ourselves and be able to see someone in the street and tell them we may be able to help and invite them to a health class. I wanted to give you a follow up on a 12 year old boy I spoke to you about a month ago. 2 years ago he had a detached retina and has had a couple of surgeries since. The hope was to restore better vision in that eye, which the doctors said, is unpredictable due to scarring. Another issue was decreased concentration in a previously bright kid since the anesthesia. He feels like the anesthesia never wore off for some reason.

I appreciate you reminding me not to put the percussor on the head of one who has had a detached retina. I hope our practitioners are aware of that. At the first visit his vision in the problem eye had reduced to 20/100.  I gave him Total Eyebright M, Super Ox, Total Enzymes and Total Probiotics to start. We removed offending foods from his diet according to testing, treated with A/SERT, laser, cranial work and cranial nerves with the laser.  We repeated treatment 2 weeks later. On the 3rd treatment another 2 weeks later he had just come from the doctor for a lens replacement. Before surgery his sight was measured to have improved to 20/80! The doctor was amazed as were the parents and all were thrilled. Due to inflammation, at this visit I added Total Inflam. As we progress I hope to un-fog his brain as well. I am sure Total Liver, Total Mitochondria and cranial-sacral work will be a great help.
