Excess Abdominal Fat Can Be More Serious Than You Think

This is certainly the age of the “Muffin Top” for guys and girls. No one likes the look, but underneath that is a much more serious issue. Even young boys and girls are showing this symptom of dis-health at an early age. Sugar dysregulation must be evaluated and treated naturally to ever change this trend. Consider VANA-CHROM, TOTAL FIBER and TOTAL ALPHA LIPOIC ACID, while decreasing sugar and hydrogenated oil intake immediately.

The abdominal region has two types of fat. The subcutaneous fat lies directly beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscles. The second type of fat is referred to as visceral fat. It lies deeper in the abdomen beneath your muscle and surrounds the organs. This visceral fat is what gives men their “beer belly”. This beer belly looks soft but is quite hard on palpation. This is a gigantic storage area of toxins and demonstrates blood sugar problems.

Both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the abdominal area are a health risk, but many and repeated studies have shown the excessive visceral fat is even more dangerous than subcutaneous fat. Both types of excessive fats increase the risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, sleep apnea, various forms of cancer, and other degenerative diseases.

Studies have shown the reason visceral fat is the most dangerous is that it releases more inflammatory molecules into your body on a consistent basis. Bad fats create more bad fats and other toxins. One reason we can have fluid retention, as well as increased fat in excess, is the solution to pollution is dilution. The body will surround toxins with fluid to dilute the poisonous effect.

The ONLY solution to consistently lose your abdominal fat and keep it off for good is to combine a sound nutritious diet full of unprocessed natural foods with a specific nutritional supplementation program, designed for that person’s individual needs. Nutritious foods and proper individualized supplementation needs to be combined with a consistent exercise program that stimulates the necessary hormonal and metabolic response within your body. Your food and supplement intake, as well as your training program is important for your looks and your health.

We must evaluate ourselves and our patients to know this exact formula for balance and health of each individual. In our seminars we have always taught muscle response testing, which is a good start for individual weaknesses and body needs. We are increasingly adding better physical finding clues and in office tests, such as urine analysis. We are also teaching specific blood, saliva, hair and challenge testing to evaluate the patient at a depth that gives the results needed in this toxic world.

PLEASE GET YOU AND YOUR STAFF TO HOMECOMING JANUARY 28-30, 2011. Never has such a comprehensive program been put together for the beginning, intermediate or advanced doctor or CA to expand their knowledge and expertise to make a difference for your patients and your practice.

In the mean time, start with digestion. HYPO-D to increase HCL and pancreatic enzymes, TOTAL ENZYMES, which are plant based and assist in protein, carbohydrate and fat digestion, along with TOTAL PROBIOTICS, which help to reestablish proper gut flora in both the small and large intestine.

One simple thing to do is take TOTAL GREEN DAILY in water, soy or rice milk to give the proper green start with all of the enzymes, nutrients and trace minerals from organic sprouts. TOTAL VEGGIE and TOTAL PROTECT are in the tablet form of even greater concentrations of these nutrients.

We will be discussing a Total Detoxification program at Homecoming, developed by team at Nutri-West. Some incredible miracles have already taken place in the preliminary studies.

Reduce your sweet intake and eliminate hydrogenated oils, along with eating healthy nutritious meals. One must eat a good breakfast to start the thyroid back on its active T3 production in the morning. If you skip a good meal to start your day, the reverse T3 is in charge and is slowing your energy and metabolism. This is increasing your belly fat while making you want something like coffee to get you going, which further weakens your already exhausted adrenals.

As usual, our topic is too big to reduce it to a quick discussion. We will discuss this in great depth at the Nutri-West/Brimhall Seminars in 2011 and in the greatest detail starting with Homecoming.
